　　The thermal centering machine is used as an auxiliary process prior to tube billet piercing and hot rolling piercing, and it primarily serves three functions:
● Reduce the eccentricity of the billet to ensure that the billet meets the required specifications for subsequent processing steps, thereby improving the yield rate of finished products.
● Increase the amount of compression before the mandrel during piercing rolling to improve the secondary bite conditions of the billet.
● Reduce wear on the tip of the nose and extend tool life.
