Daily Operation, Maintenance, and Servicing of Tile Press Machines

A tile press is a very common piece of machinery, and during its operation, it’s essential to perform regular maintenance. Only by doing so can the machine function properly. Maintenance should be carried out in several key areas. Below are the methods for maintaining a tile press, which primarily include the filter, hydraulic components, and hydraulic oil lines.
Hydraulic System: After performing repairs on the hydraulic system of the tile press, it’s essential to check the system regularly. Every week, you should verify the oil level in the reservoir. If the oil level is within the sight glass range, add hydraulic oil as needed. The oil temperature should not exceed 70 degrees Celsius; typically, the system’s operating temperature should be maintained between 35 and 60 degrees Celsius. Excessive temperatures can lead to degradation and damage of both the hydraulic oil and system components. Additionally, the oil should be changed periodically based on the machine’s operating schedule: for a new machine, change the oil after 2,000 hours of operation. Each time you change the oil, be sure to clean the oil reservoir thoroughly.
Filters: Filters should be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. Each time you change the oil, inspect and clean them every three months. The air filter on top of the oil tank is best replaced annually. If the machine triggers related alarms or if the oil quality is found to be poor, or if any other filter shows abnormalities, take immediate action.
Hydraulic Components: Never use cleaning agents. Clean the hydraulic components every month to prevent dirt from entering the system. Check each bend in the oil lines of the tile press for any signs of deformation. For a new tile press, if you notice any abnormalities after 30 days of use, replace the affected parts immediately. After 60 days of operation, tighten all connection points of the components. When performing this task, make sure the machine is turned off and the system is completely depressurized.
