The Eurasian Economic Union extends anti-dumping measures on seamless steel pipes for oil and gas wells from China.

On August 14, 2020, the Division for Protection of Internal Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission published Notice No. 2020/227/AD16R1 in the Official Gazette of the Eurasian Economic Union. In accordance with Resolution No. 98 of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Commission decided to extend the anti-dumping measures on seamless steel pipes for oil and gas exploration originating from China (Russian: neftegazopromyslovyye truby), with the validity period extended until May 12, 2021.
On August 18, 2015, the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Resolution No. 101, imposing anti-dumping duties on seamless steel pipes for oil and gas exploration originating from China, with duty rates ranging from 12.23% to 31.00%. At the same time, price undertakings were reached with certain Chinese enterprises, and no anti-dumping duties would be imposed on those enterprises that had entered into such price undertaking agreements. On May 13, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Commission published Notice No. 2020/213/AD16R1 on its official website, deciding to initiate the first sunset review investigation into the products concerned from China.
